Let’s talk summer plans and delicious food.
Introspectively speaking growing up is understanding your childhood for what it was and growing wise is understanding how it affected you. As I grow older and venture out into the unknown there is one thing that centers me, one thing that allows me to live in the present, that thing is travel. It’s not just about seeing or doing cool things, it’s about feeling connected to humanity in the most intimate of ways. It’s about having the privilege to take part in another’s culture. In times where the world feeds on what divides us, it’s important to reach for the things that unite us.
Part one of my summer one of my summer series.
I have three trips planned: Miami, London, and Paris. I will definitely give you guys the inside scoop and tell you all about the stay and more importantly… the food!
I’m finally getting into a bit of a routine. In between fitness, health, job, internship, family, and future planning I am making sure I find time to blog and put my thoughts to paper. In addition to my already hectic life I decided to get a kitten. Her name is Willow, she is both adorable and incredibly annoying. I decided to get her because I spent my life in a family of five and now that I’m on my own, I wanted something to come home to. In addition to a new cat is a new job, I am currently interning at an amazing brand that I’ll elaborate on in the future, but I love it and I am in the midst of organizing my first official marketing campaign! There are a lot of moving parts in my life right now and sometimes I feel like I’m in over my head, but that’s how I know I’m going in the right direction. To end my little rant, I just want to say this is to be an extraordinary summer and I will not be settling for any less.

SIP PHO
I am very very impressed by this place and I am even more impressed by the 10% discount they give UT Austin students. Their Brown Sugar Milk tea was the best I’ve ever had (I do not say that lightly). They gave huge portions and the broth was very flavorful. My advice when in Austin, skip PhoNatic and head straight to Sip Pho on Guadalupe. It’s even within walking distance to some of the best thrifts in the city, perfect for a day activity!
